ସରକାର କେମିତ ହେବା ଆବଶ୍ୟକ

ଆମେ ଭାବୁ ସରକାର ନଥିଲେ କୌଣସି ଯାତ୍ରା ହେଇ ପାରିବନି | ଟ୍ରାଫିକ ପୁଲିସ ନଥିଲେ ଗାଡି ମଟର ଚାଲିବାରେ ଘୋର ବିଶୃଙ୍ଖଳା ହେବ | ପୁରୀ ମନ୍ଦିର ଭିତରୁ ସରକାର ଓହରି ଆସିଲେ ପରିସ୍ଥିତି ଅସମ୍ଭାଳ ହେବ | ଏହିଭଳି ଅନେକ ଦୃଷ୍ଟାନ୍ତ ଜରିଆରେ ସରକାରର ଅପରିହାର୍ଯ୍ୟତା ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ଆମ ମାନସିକତା ପ୍ରଦର୍ଶନ କରାଯାଇ ପାରିବ | ଏହି ଦର୍ଶନ ସରକାରର ଆକାର ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଇଁ ସହାୟକ ହେଇଚି ; ସରକାରକୁ ଏକ ବିଶାଳ ହଜାରରୁ ଉର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ବ ମୁଣ୍ଡ ବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ଜୀବ କରିଛି ଏବଂ ଆମ ମାନସିକ ଶକ୍ତି କୁ ପ୍ରଭାବିତ କରି ଆମର ଅନ୍ତର୍ନିହିତ ସାମର୍ଥ୍ୟ କୁ ନିଶ୍ଚେତ ବା ମୁଦ୍ରିତ ଅବସ୍ଥାରେ ରଖିବାରେ ସମର୍ଥ ହୋଇଛି | ଆମେ ବିଶ୍ବାସ କରୁଚୁ ଯେ ଆମେ ଅକର୍ମଣ୍ୟ ; ଆମେ ସବୁବେଳେ ନିଜ ସ୍ୱାର୍ଥ ବିଷୟ ଭାବୁ ; ଆମର ସାମାଜିକ କର୍ତ୍ତବ୍ୟବୋଧ ନାହିଁ ; ଆମେ ବିପଦରେ ପଡିଥିବା ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିକୁ ସହାୟତା ଦେଉ ନାହିଁ ; ଇତ୍ୟାଦି | ଗୋଟିଏ ଉଦାହରଣ ପ୍ରାସଙ୍ଗିକ ହେବ | ଫେସବୁକରେ ମୁଁ ଅତୀତରେ ଉଲ୍ଲେଖ କରିଥିବା ଏକ ଘଟଣା ନିମ୍ନରେ ଦେଉଛି |

Bauribandhu Nanda was Superintendent of Police in 1979 . Policemen were on strike. Even SP’s driver abstained from work. IG, Mr BK Roy was prevented from moving out of Cuttack. Bauribandhu took recourse to pinion riding, sitting at the back of a police Sub Inspector on his motorcycle. He had only about fifty police officials to depend on who were not on strike. Volunteers came forward to take up responsibility. All four gates of the Temple were thrown open, to prevent obstruction to movement of devotees. A self regulatory arrangement came up on its own through widespread realisation that everyone had a responsibility to discharge and a role to play. “I saw the three deities near Anand Bazar, in the process of being taken to the chariots; I stood before them and wept, in a state of helplessness. A person from behind spoke to me. He was from a reputed voluntary organization. He assured me that volunteers would take care. Chariots moved without a hitch and all the three chariots reached Gundicha Temple around five in the afternoon; Rath Yatra passed off smoothly, ” Bauribandhu summed up.
ଆମେ ଏହି ଦୃଷ୍ଟାନ୍ତ ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ମନନ କରିବା ଆବଶ୍ୟକ | ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱର ସହରର ମାଉସୀମା ଛକରେ ଟ୍ରାଫିକ ପୁଲିସ ର ଉପସ୍ଥିତି ସତ୍ତ୍ୱେ ଅବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ଅବ୍ୟାହତ ରହେ | ମନ୍ଦିର ଭିତର ବିଶୃଙ୍ଖଳା ସରକାରୀ ଉପସ୍ଥିତି ସତ୍ତ୍ୱେ ହୁଏ |
ସରକାରପ୍ରେମୀ ହେବାକୁ ହେଲେ ସରକାରର ମାନ ପ୍ରତି ସଜାଗ ହେବାକୁ ହେବ ; ଏହାର ସାଧୁତା ଓ ଗୁଣବତ୍ତା ପ୍ରତି ନଜର ଦେବା ଆବଶ୍ୟକ | ସରକାର ଅତ୍ୟାଚାର ପ୍ରବଣ କି ; ଅନ୍ୟାୟ ପ୍ରବଣ କି ଏହିପରି ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ ର ଉତ୍ତର ଖୋଜିବା ଆବଶ୍ୟକ | ଆମେ ସରକାର ପ୍ରେମୀ ହେବା ; କିନ୍ତୁ ଅନ୍ଧ ଉପାସକ ହେବାନି ; ଆମେ ନିୟନ୍ତ୍ରିତ ସରକାର ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରିବା ପାଇଁ ସାମର୍ଥ୍ୟ ହାସଲ କରିବା | ଆଜି ଆମେ ଦୁର୍ବଳ ହେଇ ସବୁ ଅବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା କୁ ସ୍ୱୀକାର କରୁଛେ | ଏହା ଶୁଭଙ୍କର ନୁହେଁ |
